In quarter 3 students will be expected to
- solve problems involving division of fractions by fractions
- use positive and negative numbers to represent quantities
- represent positive and negative numbers on a number line and coordinate plane
- understand absolute value of rational numbers
- describe a ratio relationship
- express a unit rate
- use ratio and rate to solve problems
- make and use tables of equivalent ratios
- solve problems that involve finding a percent
- use ratio reasoning to convert measurement units
